Cambodian 85 percent are farmers and Rice growing is according to seed, land and water(rain) and growing in the right time. Nowadays Cambodia is hard to access the modern farming because it need more time to build agricultural hydraulics and infrastructure.
Here is my first trying rice growing in three hectares.
First, we need to think about the cassava tree, cassava hormone, labor and supporting material for cutting/carrying/putting water, carrying cassava cuts. I feel it’s hard work to do as farmer, staying long time under the sun and waiting long term to get the productions.
However, I want to try to grow cassava. I feel I could learn something from growing and farmers. I could learn some farm techniques to grow cassava and how to work on the farm. Some people have left land fallow to re-enrich the soil. I think land is a golden resource for farmers to use resourcefully. Cambodia will be in better economic condition in the future if farmers have their own land and grow crops of their acreage.
